Johann von Bülow is the new Terre des Hommes ambassador

Johann von Bülow, a renowned artist from numerous national and international film and television productions, as well as theater performances, is the new ambassador of Terre des Hommes . He has performed at the Schauspielhaus Bochum and the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf, played the role of the spurned lover in Francois Ozon's "Frantz," directed the ARTE cult series "Parlament," and has guest-starred in numerous ARD and ZDF crime series, including "Mr. and Mrs. Bulle," "Mord mit Aussicht," "Tatort," and "Polizeiruf 110."

"I am delighted to be an ambassador for Terre des Hommes . Protecting and empowering children worldwide, especially in these times, is an important task that I am happy to support. Because where we are born is a matter of chance, and children are too often the victims of circumstances beyond their control. Terre des Hommes ' approach of supporting them, listening to their needs, and involving them in the decision-making process is absolutely convincing. I have already witnessed the impressive work of a team of dedicated young women in a Terre des Hommes project in Hamburg, which seeks to give refugee children a future in our country. Giving my voice to those who are otherwise under-heard is a task I am happy to take on, whether locally or in another region of the world, whether in acute emergencies or through long-term advocacy," explains Johann von Bülow.

Terre des Hommes is delighted to have the support of such a well-known figure. "In Johann von Bülow, I have met someone who is passionate about advocating for the rights of refugee or exploited children and young people. During our first project visit together, I found him open and very interested in learning about Terre des Hommes ' work. In him, we have a supporter who will help raise the profile of our diverse projects to protect and empower children and young people," says Joshua Hofert, spokesperson for the board of Terre des Hommes .
